Google voice dialer

We have received overwhelming feedback from users who are using CardKaller to make Google Voice calls.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Install CardKaller from our downloads page
  2. Go to Add a card
  3. Name the card
  4. Access number: Your Google Voice Number
  5. Number of pauses: 1
  6. Card number: 2
  7. Number of pauses: 1
  8. Termination characters: #

That’s it. Then when you want to make a Google Voice call, just pick anyone from your address book and choose CardKaller Call.

NOTE: We are still addressing navigation issues with 8900 Curve, Bold and Storm devices and should have a new build up soon. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Don’t forget to make sure your cell phone is a registered phone in your gVoice account and that the settings for the cell phone are such that you don’t need to give your PIN. The default settings for a cell phone in gVoice do not require a PIN.

Very nice. Is there a way to make the new card a default that doesn’t need to be selected with each call?

As bossler said it would great not have to “select” the card saving time, maybe in the drop menu of the BB have it as a default card??

The user interface is buggy for the 8900 as said. I know when I’m in a typing field, but aside from that, I don’t know what I’m selecting (i.e. next or back after typing info for a card).

The application worked great when I entered in the number I wanted to dial manually (e.g. number entered in through the Card Kaller App). However, when I tried to access my address book and make the call (I selected contacted, pressed Blackberry Button, then selected CardKaller call) it dialed my Google Voice number, but then proceeded to input a long string of numbers. At the end of it, I ended up in a menu that asked me to change my personalized greeting voicemail.

    I am running a Sprint 8330 Curve with 4.5.0.97

All in all, it is great I can use this to dial out, but it would be even greater if it could provide full functionality with the address book.

    Edit:
It appears to work when I call a contact through my call log. The error I described occurs as I selected a contact through my Address Book. I was not able to duplicate this dialing error when I tried to call through the Address Book a second time.

Will this be sold for a subscription fee or a one time application fee? Please keep posted, I think this app has a lot of potential!

The application is running as expected on a blackberry curve 8350i on 4.6 running on tthe nextel service. In order to fix the inconsistent dialing from my address book, I changed the first set of pauses to 2 and this solved the goggle 411 loop or no call I was receiving. Thankyou guys this app is the perfect companion for google voice and the blackberry. Also I have not experienced any issues when launching from the address book and I have been using it all day since I d/l earllkier.
